Community Closet
The Community Closet is a program that provides free donated clothing and household items to persons and families in need throughout Tucson and Pima County. Dozens of supporting agencies and congregations of faith participate in our referral system which allows them to distribute vouchers to their clients or members who are seeking help. Participating organizations include: Aviva Children’s Services, Emerge!, Voices Against Violence, and various local churches. You can call Information and Referral Services at (520) 881-1794 for a complete list of these participating agencies and congregations, or click on this link to view the list of referring agencies.

The following are words of a grateful recipient:
” We came here in 02/1/09 and were robbed of everything. Thanks to you we have some clothes! We got our truck back in 3 days. It has been an experience going through this but the police has caught them. We just have to pray and trust GOD. Thank you so much for being there for us”

We need your support if we are to continue this important program. Community Closet relies heavily on the Tucson community’s donations and is looking for donors to help provide new bedding (or almost new), clothing, and general household items. TMM accepts donated items at the administrative office, 1550 N. Country Club Road, or at the ReStore, 2958 E. 22nd Street. The ReStore also has a truck that can pick up large amounts or heavier items. Please call the ReStore to schedule a pick up at (520) 326-1936.
