Seeking guidance from God and in partnership with congregations of all faiths in the Southern Arizona, the mission of TMM is to:

La Escuelita Childcare Center in South Tucson has openings and is accepting applications for enrollment. More details are listed below and/or you may contact the center nearest you.

TMM Family Services operates one state licensed childcare center. Rates are on a monthly basis and are charged weekly for part-time and full-time children. TMM subsidizes these rates for most families, using designated United Way, county and state funds, and church and individual donations. The sliding fee scale is used to determine eligibility for all subsidies. An annual nonrefundable registration and enrollment fee of $5 per child is collected in September or during the month the child enrolls.

Age appropriate lesson plans or curriculum are used along with play materials and equipment, which include: books, manipulative toys, teaching tools, pre-kindergarten activities, puzzles, socialization and field trips. Schedules are posted daily.

The manager and staff are qualified individuals and attend continuing child care workshops yearly. Food is prepared in each center's kitchen according to state standards. For more information, contact Maria, La E. manager at 622-0608, or Debbie at TMM office 322-9557.

The center hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., year round, Monday through Friday, except for New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, and Christmas. Ages served are toddlers and preschool 1-5 years, and after school children ages 6-10 years. Meals and snacks are served at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 noon and 3 p.m.
