Note: For families larger than 6 persons, income guidelines are available upon request. Home Parameters & Eligibility The home must be located within Tucson City limits. The home must be owner-occupied. The repairs may include structural and roof repairs, as well as correction of health and safety hazards such as ruptured water, sewer and gas lines. Disability modifications such as construction of ramps and installation of grab bars may also be done. The home must be free and clear of any judgments as evidenced by title search. Proof of Homeowners Insurance must be in place and the property cannot be in a flood plain. Homeowners must not have liquid cash assets exceeding $10,000.00 The owner(s) must be current with the mortgage (if applicable). Taxes should be current.
Home InspectionLicensed and certified building inspectors, in consultation with TMM staff & the homeowners, will determine what repairs to make. Licensed and certified inspectors are priority under this Rehabilitation assistance program. Fees In order to provide the Rehabilitation program, TMM may charge a fee.
