TMM Family Services is honored to announce that it has been selected as the charity to participate and benefit in the award-winning national program PICTURES OF HOPE. Created by photojournalist and author, Linda Solomon, Pictures of Hope will provide special opportunities for the kids living on TMM's campus. The children will be given the opportunity to express their hopes and dreams through the photographs that they have taken behind the camera. Selected photographs are then memorialized into Pictures of Hope cards that are sold to the public with the proceeds benefiting the programs of TMM Family Services.
And the children are not alone on their journey behind the lens. Pictures of Hope is a program that believes in the power of mentorship. Community leaders, police officers, firefighters, teachers, journalists, business leaders, artists and athletes are invited to participate in the program to guide the students as they capture their dreams.
The Mission of Pictures of Hope: to show children how much we believe in their dreams and we give children "hope" for a brighter future. By asking youth to express their hopes and their dreams in photographs, self-esteem is enhanced! The children see their dreams right in front of them... ready to achieve!
